The HP OneLam 270 A4 is a compact laminator intended for a variety of uses ranging from hobby to home office requirements and fits on any desk. The modern device is only intended for hot laminating and can seal documents from the size of visiting cards to A4 documents. The reliable HP OneLam 270 A4 does not only enable you to to laminate your recipes, photos or drawings by your children but also playing cards and bicycle maps can be laminated as long as the overall thickness, including lamination foil, does not exceed 0.5 mm.

The laminator, in its grey-white design, operates at a speed of 270 millimetres per minute and, as a result, can seal an A4 document in a little over 60 seconds.

The laminator has been conceived for lamination foils with a foil thickness of 80 micron up to 125 micron.

The laminator is equipped with a main On/Off switch as well as a lever to unlock the rollers: If you inadvertently insert the foil in the laminator at an angle, it could lead to a foil jam. After unlocking the rollers, the lamination foil is released and can be pulled out, carefully, from the infeed side to clear the foil jam.

How to use

Place the laminator on a stable, flat surface and connect it to a compatible mains outlet (220–240 V, 50/60 Hz). Turn the unit on and allow 2–4 minutes for preheating until it reaches operating temperature. Insert the document centered into a pouch appropriate for 80–125 µm thickness, align the sealed edge first and feed the pouch slowly into the feed slot. The two rollers will pull the pouch through; use the roller-release lever if a jam occurs. After lamination, allow the sealed document to cool on a flat surface before handling.

Recommendations

Do not leave the laminator unattended while switched on. Use pouches within the specified thickness range and let laminated items cool before stacking to avoid deformation.
