Prensaestopas DeLOCK 60359 negro metal plástico

The DeLOCK 60359 cable gland provides a watertight lead-through for cables and electrical conduits, combining metal and plastic construction for durable cable protection. Designed as a single screw-on unit in black, it seals the housing against dust and moisture while offering mechanical strain relief to secure cables in place.

Advantages

The screw-on strain relief secures the cable and prevents excessive bending, reducing the risk of damage in applications with vibration or movement. The construction achieves an IP68 level of protection against dust and water ingress. Robust metal and plastic materials ensure longevity and suitability for demanding environments.

Suitable for

• Industrial automation systems
• Robotics and machine tools
• Electrical enclosures and junction boxes
• Outdoor or harsh-environment installations requiring IP68 sealing

Key specifications

How to use

Drill or prepare an appropriately sized hole in the enclosure, insert the cable through the gland and screw the unit into the housing thread until the seal sits firmly. Tighten the screw-on strain relief to clamp the cable without over-compressing the sheath. Ensure the sealing surfaces are clean and that the gland is compatible with the cable diameter before final installation.

Recommendations

Check cable diameter compatibility and tighten the strain relief to secure the cable while avoiding excessive pressure on the insulation. Regularly inspect the gland and surrounding seals in high-vibration or outdoor applications to maintain IP68 protection.
