Prensaestopas DeLOCK 90° en ángulo PG21 gris con alivio de tracción

This cable gland by DeLOCK provides a watertight seal for housings where cables or electrical conduits pass through. The 90° angled design allows installation in confined spaces and is made of durable grey plastic to ensure long-lasting cable management and protection.

Advantages

The screw-on strain relief secures the cable and prevents excessive bending, reducing stress at the entry point and keeping cables fixed in their position even under vibration. The IP68 rating ensures protection against dust and temporary immersion in water. Its robust construction makes it suitable for industrial environments where reliable sealing and mechanical protection are required.

Suitable for

• Routing and sealing cables in machinery and equipment
• Applications with limited installation space requiring a 90° entry
• Automation and robotics where strain relief and vibration resistance are needed
• Enclosures requiring dust- and water-resistant cable feed-throughs

How to use

Drill or prepare an appropriately sized PG21 thread hole in the enclosure. Insert the angled cable gland through the opening and secure it by threading and tightening from the outside or inside as required. Pass the cable through the gland, then screw on the strain relief cap and tighten to the recommended torque so the cable is clamped without crushing. Ensure the sealing surfaces are clean and the gland is correctly orientated for the 90° exit.

Recommendations

Check cable diameter compatibility with PG21 and the strain relief before installation. Avoid over-tightening the strain relief to prevent damage to the cable insulation. For permanent outdoor or submerged installations, verify all enclosure seals and maintenance schedules to preserve the IP68 protection.
