Goobay Cable HDMI 5m Type-A conector macho a conector macho 18 Gbit/s Blanco

The Goobay HDMI Cable 5m Type A Male to Male 18 Gbit/s White is a 5-meter HDMI connection cable with HDMI Type A male connectors on both ends. It supports high-definition audio and video transmission at a data rate up to 18 Gbit/s and is finished in white with gold-plated contacts to maintain stable signal transfer. The cable is intended to link HDMI-equipped devices such as TVs, monitors, projectors and gaming consoles over a medium distance while preserving image and sound quality.

Advantages

The cable provides a consistent data throughput up to 18 Gbit/s suitable for Full HD and many 4K applications, while gold-plated contacts reduce oxidation and improve long-term contact reliability. The 5 m length allows flexible placement of devices without the need for extenders, and the standard HDMI Type A connectors ensure compatibility with the majority of consumer AV equipment. The white jacket offers a discreet appearance that blends with light-coloured interiors.

Suitable for

• Connecting a TV or monitor to a set-top box, Blu-ray player or media streamer
• Linking a gaming console to a large-screen TV or projector
• Connecting a laptop or mini-PC with HDMI output to an external display
• Temporary AV setups for presentations or home theatre installations

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m
• Connector type: HDMI Type A male to HDMI Type A male
• Maximum data rate: up to 18 Gbit/s
• Colour: white
• Contact finish: gold-plated contacts

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A male connector to the HDMI output of the source device (for example a Blu-ray player, console or laptop) and the other connector to the HDMI input of the display device (TV, monitor or projector). Ensure both devices are powered on and set the display input to the appropriate HDMI port. For optimal signal, avoid sharp bends and do not tightly coil the cable; allow gentle curvature along the routing path.

Recommendations

For stable performance, keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources such as mains transformers and wireless routers. If you experience signal loss at higher resolutions, check device HDMI settings and try a different HDMI input on the display. Store the cable coiled loosely in a dry environment when not in use to preserve the jacket and connectors.
