Quantum LTO-9, unidad de almacenamiento, cartucho de cinta, Serial Attached SCSI (SAS), 2.5:1, LTO, 5,25 inch media altura

The Quantum LTO-9 Tape Cartridge 18 TB SAS provides a native capacity of 18 TB and a compressed capacity up to 45 TB, intended for long-term data archiving and backup. It supports fast data transfer and connects via a Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) interface. The cartridge is compatible with systems that use SFF8482 SAS connectors with integrated power and can be used alongside Resource Documents and DataStor Shield backup software with deduplication.

Advantages

The cartridge delivers high native and compressed capacities in a physical tape format, offering a sustained transfer rate of 300 MB/s and a burst rate of up to 1200 MB/s for efficient large-volume transfers. Use of the SAS interface ensures reliable, high-speed connectivity. The tape format is suitable for long-term retention and offline storage, reducing exposure to online threats. Compatibility with backup software that supports deduplication helps optimize storage utilization and reduce backup windows.

Suitable for

• Long-term archival storage of business-critical data
• Regular backup routines in data centers and IT departments
• Offline cold storage to protect against ransomware and accidental deletion
• High-capacity media for compliance and retention policies
