Racor Alphacool 17260

The Alphacool 17260 fitting is a compact brass component finished in black, designed for use in custom computer cooling loops. With dimensions of 18 mm width, 31.5 mm depth and 32.5 mm height, and a weight of approximately 0.1 kg, this single-piece fitting provides a corrosion-resistant connection point intended for liquid cooling systems in PCs. Its solid brass construction and protective finish support long-term operation in typical desktop environments.

Advantages

The brass construction offers mechanical strength and resistance to corrosion, while the black finish provides a discreet appearance that integrates well with a variety of build styles. The fitting's compact footprint helps save space inside cases and allows flexible routing of tubing. Designed for one-piece use, it simplifies installation and reduces potential leak points when used correctly.

Suitable for

• Custom PC water-cooling loops
• Radiator, pump and reservoir connections in desktop builds
• Replacement or upgrade of existing fittings in computer cooling systems

Key specifications

• Material: brass
• Finish: black
• Width: 18 mm
• Depth: 31.5 mm
• Height: 32.5 mm
• Weight: ~0.1 kg
• Pack quantity: 1 fitting per pack

How to use

Install the fitting as part of a cold, drained and depressurized cooling loop according to the tubing and component manufacturer instructions. Ensure mating surfaces and threads are clean and free from debris before assembly. Hand-start threads where applicable and tighten to the recommended torque or until snug, avoiding over-tightening that could damage threads or deform tubing. Verify seals and connections by performing a controlled leak test before powering the system.

Recommendations

Use compatible tubing and sealing methods recommended for brass fittings; avoid mixing incompatible metals without appropriate corrosion inhibitors. Perform routine inspections for signs of wear or corrosion and retest seals after initial system operation to confirm leak-free performance.
