Recogefrutas Gardena 03108-20

The Gardena 03108-20 loose fruit picker is a handheld harvesting tool designed to collect fruit from trees and shrubs without causing damage to the fruit or foliage. Its blue and grey plastic head and comfortable handle provide a stable grip while allowing gentle removal of apples, pears and similar fruits. Lightweight and easy to manoeuvre, this fruit picker is intended for home gardeners who need a simple, effective tool for seasonal harvesting.

Advantages

The tool's lightweight construction reduces arm fatigue during extended use while the ergonomic handle ensures a secure and comfortable grip. The picker head is shaped to hold fruit securely after detachment, minimising bruising and fall damage. Durable plastic materials resist weathering and require minimal maintenance. Compact dimensions make the tool easy to store in a garden shed or carry while working in trees or raised beds.

Suitable for

• Preventing fruit bruising during collection

• Material: durable plastic head and handle
• Colour: blue and grey
• Weight: lightweight construction for easy handling

How to use

Position the picker head around the fruit and gently twist or pull until the fruit detaches from the stem. Allow the fruit to rest securely in the picker head to avoid dropping; then transfer fruit into a basket or container. Use controlled, steady movements rather than forceful tugs to minimise damage to both fruit and branches. Inspect the picker head regularly for any cracks or wear and clean it with water if needed.

Recommendations

Use the fruit picker on dry days where hands and tool remain clean and dry to reduce slipping. For higher branches, work from a stable ladder or platform and follow standard safety practices. Store the picker indoors or in a sheltered place to prolong the life of plastic components.
