Regulador de carga solar MPPT QOLTEC 53662 con sensor de temperatura

The MPPT Solar Charge Controller QOLTEC 53662 with Temperature Sensor regulates power transfer from photovoltaic panels to batteries using maximum power point tracking (MPPT) to extract higher charging efficiency compared with simple PWM regulators. The unit integrates a temperature sensor for automatic temperature compensation of charging voltage, and provides dedicated terminals for PV input, battery output and load connection. It is intended for off-grid solar systems, battery maintenance and small renewable energy installations where controlled charging and protection features are required.

Advantages

The QOLTEC 53662 implements MPPT technology to improve energy harvest from solar panels under varying irradiance and temperature. Built-in temperature sensing enables automatic adjustment of charging parameters to match battery temperature, helping to maintain correct charge voltage and extend battery life. The device includes protection functions and standard connections for PV, battery and load, delivering a compact and practical solution for small-scale systems.

Suitable for

• Off-grid solar systems for cabins, boats or remote equipment
• Battery maintenance and charging of 12V/24V battery banks (system dependent)
• Small renewable installations such as standalone PV arrays powering lights, pumps or electronics

Key specifications

• MPPT charging algorithm for improved solar-to-battery conversion
• Integrated temperature sensor for temperature-compensated charging
• Terminals for photovoltaic panel input, battery output and load connection
• Protection against common faults (overcharge, reverse polarity, short circuit — as implemented by the manufacturer)
• Compact form factor suitable for small installations

How to use

Install the controller on a ventilated, dry surface near the battery bank and within reach of PV cable runs. Connect the battery first to ensure the controller recognises system voltage, then connect the photovoltaic panel to the PV terminals and finally attach the load to the load terminals. Position and connect the temperature sensor to the battery or near the battery terminals to enable temperature-compensated charging. Follow the manufacturer’s wiring diagrams and safety instructions included with the product when making electrical connections.

Recommendations

Verify system voltage compatibility before installation, route cables to minimise voltage drop, and ensure proper fusing on battery and PV circuits. Regularly inspect connections and clean PV panels to maintain performance. For specific battery types and charging profiles, consult the battery manufacturer and adjust controller settings accordingly where configurable.
