Remache ciego GESIPA VA A2 4×8 mm para 2,5–4,5 mm, cabeza redonda plana

Blind rivet GESIPA VA A2 4×8 mm with a flat-round head is a single-sided fastening element designed for applications where access to the rear of the joint is restricted. Manufactured for blind riveting tasks, this stainless steel rivet creates a permanent mechanical connection suitable for use in metal, sheet metal and layered constructions. The rivet is sized for holes matching materials with combined thickness from 2.5 to 4.5 mm and features a flat-round head profile to provide secure seating and a flush but slightly contoured finish on the visible side.

Advantages

This GESIPA blind rivet offers corrosion-resistant properties due to its stainless steel construction, delivering long-term reliability in indoor and many outdoor environments. Its flat-round head provides good bearing area and an even appearance on the accessible face. The blind installation method permits assembly from one side only, simplifying work in confined spaces and reducing the need for specialized access. The rivet provides vibration-resistant, permanent fastening compatible with standard blind-riveting tools.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Joining thin metal sheets and panels
• Fastening layered assemblies where back access is not available
• Repair and maintenance tasks on vehicle bodies and metal furniture
• Light structural connections in HVAC, electrical enclosures and signage

Key specifications

• Material: stainless steel (A2)
• Head style: flat-round head
• Rivet body dimensions: 4 mm diameter × 8 mm length
• Suitable material thickness range: 2.5–4.5 mm
• Installation method: blind (single-side) riveting
• Finish: corrosion-resistant metallic

How to use

Prepare the components by drilling a hole matching the rivet body diameter and the combined material thickness range. Insert the rivet into the hole until the head sits flush or slightly contoured against the visible surface. Use a compatible blind-riveting tool to pull the mandrel and form the blind-side bulge, applying steady pressure until the mandrel breaks off and the rivet sets. Verify that the head is properly seated and that the joint has the expected clamping force and stability.

Recommendations

Choose a drill bit sized for a 4 mm rivet body and confirm the total stack thickness falls within 2.5–4.5 mm. Use hand or pneumatic blind-riveting tools rated for stainless steel rivets and avoid excessive torque or repeated rework on the same hole to maintain joint integrity. For environments with higher corrosion risk or galvanic concerns, assess material compatibility before installation.
