Rodillo de separación de ADF Lexmark 40X9682 compatible con varias impresoras Lexmark

ADF separator roller Lexmark 40X9682 compatible with various Lexmark printers is a replacement part designed for the automatic document feeder (ADF) system. It separates individual sheets during scanning or copying operations to reduce misfeeds and paper jams, restoring consistent paper handling in compatible Lexmark devices. This compatible separator roller is intended for service and maintenance use where the original roller shows wear, glazing, or reduced separation performance.

Advantages

The separator roller provides reliable sheet separation to minimise double feeds and paper jams, helping maintain throughput and reduce interruptions during batch scanning or copying. As a compatible spare part, it offers straightforward installation and restores ADF performance to help devices operate closer to their original specifications. The roller is suitable for routine maintenance cycles and can extend the usable life of the feeder mechanism when replaced in a timely manner.

Suitable for

• Service and maintenance of Lexmark automatic document feeders
• Replacing worn or glazed separator rollers to reduce paper jams
• Improving reliability for frequent scanning or copying tasks
• Small office and enterprise environments with moderate ADF usage

Key specifications

• Function: ADF separator roller for sheet separation in automatic document feeders
• Compatibility: Designed to be compatible with a range of Lexmark ADF-equipped printers and multifunction devices
• Material characteristics: durable rubber surface to provide friction for reliable sheet separation
• Intended use: replacement part for maintenance and repair of feeder mechanisms
• Form factor: roller shape sized for inline ADF installation (dimensions depend on specific device model)

How to use

Power off the printer and open the ADF assembly according to the device service instructions. Remove the old separator roller by releasing the retention clips or fasteners, taking care to note the roller orientation and seating. Install the compatible ADF separator roller by aligning it with the same mounting points and securing it in place until it clicks or locks. Close the ADF, power on the device and run a few test feeds to confirm correct paper separation and reliable operation. Dispose of the removed part according to local electronic waste guidelines.

Recommendations

Replace the separator roller when frequent misfeeds, double feeds, or paper jams occur in the ADF, or as part of scheduled maintenance. Use clean, lint-free gloves during installation to avoid contaminating the roller surface, and test with representative paper types and sizes to confirm consistent feeding. If problems persist after replacement, consult device service documentation or a qualified technician to check related feed components and alignment.
