ROLINE Cable de parcheo Cat.6 S/FTP PiMF, Gris, 20 m, PoE, RJ45 21.51.0850

In a busy office, a network administrator needs to connect a PoE-powered access point on the ceiling to a switch in the server room, 20 metres away. This ROLINE patch cable handles the run with full Cat.6 performance and reliable power delivery, thanks to its S/FTP shielding and PiMF construction. The grey jacket blends into cable trays and keeps the installation looking tidy.

Why choose it

Each pair is individually wrapped in metal foil, then the whole bundle is screened – that is the S/FTP PiMF design. It blocks alien crosstalk and electromagnetic interference, so your Gigabit Ethernet stays stable even near power lines or other cables. Stranded conductors keep the cable flexible for routing around corners, while the PVC jacket resists everyday wear.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting PoE devices like IP cameras, VoIP phones, or wireless access points
• Permanent links between patch panels and switches in data centres
• Office networks where cable runs pass through congested areas
• Gigabit Ethernet connections requiring extra shielding

Good to know

The cable is fully backward compatible with Cat.5e and Cat.5 networks. It meets RoHS environmental standards. The grey colour is neutral and easy to label. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and keep the minimum bend radius above four times the cable diameter.
