Rollo de repuesto para mosquitera Tesa 55141-00000-01 1,0 m x 1,2 m tejido de aluminio resistente a la rotura

Replacement fly screen refill roll from Tesa designed to repair or renew damaged window and door insect screens. The roll measures 1.0 m x 1.2 m and is made of aluminum fabric with tear-resistant properties, providing a balance of airflow, visibility and durability for interior and exterior openings.

Advantages

The aluminum fabric offers enhanced tear resistance compared with standard textile meshes while maintaining adequate ventilation and light transmission. The material is dimensionally stable, resists sagging and keeps its shape after installation. The compact roll format allows straightforward cutting to size and reduces waste when replacing small or partial sections of a screen. The neutral appearance suits a wide range of window and door frames.

Suitable for

• Repairing torn or worn window insect screens
• Replacing sections of door screens on balconies or patios
• DIY screen refurbishment in residential homes
• Light commercial use in offices or small retail premises

Key specifications

• Material: aluminum fabric with tear-resistant structure
• Dimensions: 1.0 m × 1.2 m (roll)
• Function: insect barrier with airflow and visibility retention
• Finish: neutral metallic appearance suitable for common frame colors
• Form factor: cut-to-fit roll for custom repairs

How to use

Measure the area of the damaged screen and cut a patch or full replacement piece from the roll leaving a small overlap for secure fastening. Remove the old mesh and clean the frame channel before inserting the new fabric. Fit the material into the frame channel and secure it with the appropriate spline or fasteners recommended for your frame type, trimming excess material for a neat edge. For larger replacements, consider temporary support while fastening to keep the fabric aligned and wrinkle-free.

Recommendations

Use hand gloves and eye protection when cutting the aluminum fabric to avoid sharp edges. For best results, pair the mesh with a compatible spline and installation tool sized to your frame. Regular visual checks can help detect early wear and allow timely patching rather than full replacement.
