Cable de fibra óptica EFB Elektronik O0350.3 3 m LC amarillo

The EFB Elektronik O0350.3 3 m LC Yellow is a single-mode OS2 fibre optic patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission over short to medium distances. With LC connectors on both ends and a 9 µm core diameter, this 3 metre cable supports full duplex links and is intended for use in structured cabling, server rooms, and network patch panels. The yellow jacket follows common colour-coding conventions for single-mode fibres, simplifying identification and cable management in multi-run installations.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable provides low attenuation and consistent signal integrity typical of OS2 single-mode fibres, supporting reliable long-term performance in point-to-point connections. The LC duplex connectors offer a compact footprint suitable for high-density panels, while the 3 m length balances flexibility and minimal excess slack in rack or workstation setups. The yellow outer sheath aids visual identification and reduces installation errors when mixing multimode and single-mode lines.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and servers in data centres and telecommunication rooms
• Linking patch panels and network distribution frames in structured cabling systems
• Short to medium range single-mode links where a 3 m cable length is required
• Environments requiring neat cable management and colour-coded identification

Key specifications

• Fibre type: Single-mode OS2
• Connector type: LC to LC duplex
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Length: 3 metres
• Cable colour: Yellow
• Transmission mode: Full duplex

How to use

Inspect both LC connectors and the fibre ends for visible contamination before installation; clean with appropriate fibre cleaning tools if necessary. Route the cable through cable management trays or along Velcro-secured paths to avoid sharp bends; maintain the manufacturer-recommended minimum bend radius for single-mode fibre. Insert the LC connectors into the corresponding LC ports on transceivers or patch panels until they click into place, ensuring correct duplex orientation for transmit and receive channels. Test the link continuity and optical loss with suitable test equipment after installation.

Recommendations

Store the cable coiled loosely and protected from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Avoid kinking or crushing the cable and follow standard ESD precautions when handling connectors and transceivers to maintain optimal performance.
