Safetex cable de seguridad según EN 12385-4 con guardacabo en ambos extremos DGUV hasta 16.0kg | cable-Ø 4 (AS-04-B-KK-02.00)

Stage technicians and event riggers often need a dependable way to secure lighting fixtures, signage, and small equipment overhead. The SAFETEX AS-04-B-KK-02.00 safety rope answers that call with a galvanized steel construction built to EN 12385-4 and DGUV-tested for loads up to 16.0 kg. Each end is finished with a thimble eye, so you can attach carabiners or shackles without chafing the rope.

Key specifications

• Rope diameter: 4 mm
• Length: 2.00 m
• Material: Galvanized steel, 7x7 construction
• End terminations: Thimble (Kausche) on both sides
• Maximum working load: 16.0 kg
• Certification: EN 12385-4, DGUV
• Ferrule material: Aluminium
• Colour: Silver (metallic)

Why choose it

Galvanization gives the rope long-term corrosion resistance, even in humid venues or outdoor temporary installations. The double thimble design distributes load evenly and prevents kinking at the attachment points, extending the rope's service life. Because it meets DGUV requirements, it is accepted by safety inspectors in many professional environments.

Ideal use cases

• Securing stage lights, projectors, and small truss accessories
• Fall protection for lightweight tools and equipment in industrial settings
• Tethering displays, banners, or decorative elements in retail and exhibition spaces
• Safety backup for small hoists or rigging points

Good to know

Always verify that the total suspended weight, including any dynamic forces, stays below the 16.0 kg working load limit. Inspect the rope and ferrules before each use, and replace immediately if any wire strands are broken or the thimbles are deformed. Store in a dry place to maximize the life of the galvanized coating.
