SAI rack Infosec X4 2000 RM Plus 2 kVA / 1200 W, 10 tomas tipo F, LCD, Line-Interactive

The Infosec X4 2000 RM Plus is a Line-Interactive uninterruptible power supply (UPS) with a rated capacity of 2 kVA (1200 W) and a sealed lead acid (VRLA) 12 V 9 Ah battery. Designed for rackmount installations, it provides short-term battery backup, USB communication and RJ45 protection for ADSL lines, and an LCD display that shows detailed status information.

Advantages

Microprocessor-controlled Line-Interactive technology delivers reliable protection and maintains connected equipment operational during outages for up to 65 minutes depending on load. The integrated charger reduces battery recharge time to 90% in approximately 4 hours and the unit supports cold-start and automatic restart when mains power returns. Energy-saving management allows the X4 RM Plus to use significantly less energy than a conventional UPS.

Suitable for

• Small server racks and network cabinets
• Workstations and office equipment requiring short-term backup
• Network devices with ADSL connections (modems/routers)
• Environments needing rackmount UPS form factor

How to use

Install the UPS in a suitable rack space and connect the mains supply. Plug required equipment into the AC outlets and connect the USB Type-B port to a management PC if remote monitoring or safe-shutdown is required. In case of mains failure the unit switches to battery automatically; when mains power is restored the UPS can restart automatically and recharges the battery to 90% in about 4 hours.

Recommendations

Place the UPS in a ventilated rack environment, avoid exposure to high temperatures or moisture, and monitor battery status via the LCD and Infopower software. Calculate expected runtime by comparing the total connected load to the UPS power rating and allow periodic battery charging cycles to maintain capacity.
