Salewa MTN Trainer Mid GTX Hombre Adulto Charcoal Gris Rojo Piel Ante Vibram

The Salewa MTN Trainer Mid GTX Male Adult Charcoal Grey Red Leather Suede Vibram is a lightweight alpine trekking boot engineered for mixed and technical mountain terrain. The upper combines robust suede leather and fabric with a GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining to deliver waterproof, breathable protection. A dual-density Bilight TPU midsole and a compact Vibram® WTC outsole offer a balance of cushioning, stability and reliable grip, while SALEWA’s 3F System and a Flex Collar at the ankle provide adaptive support and natural movement on ascents and descents.

Advantages

Durable leather and suede construction protects against abrasion while maintaining a refined fit. The GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort membrane ensures waterproofness and breathability for variable weather conditions. The Bilight TPU midsole provides ergonomic cushioning and long-distance comfort without excessive weight. Vibram® WTC outsole technology gives consistent traction on rocky and mixed surfaces, and the 3F System secures the heel and midfoot for blister-free support during extended use.

Suitable for

• Alpine trekking on mixed and technical trails

• Approach routes and short mountaineering excursions
• Backpacking when a balance of weight, support and comfort is required

How to use

Select the correct size and lace the boots to obtain secure heel hold without excessive pressure across the instep. Use the Flex Collar and 3F System to adjust support for uphill or downhill sections: tighten for stability on steep ascents and relax slightly to allow natural ankle flex on descents. The GORE-TEX® lining provides protection in wet conditions; for prolonged exposure to water or mud rinse off debris and allow the boots to dry naturally away from direct heat. Replace the OrthoLite footbed if needed to maintain cushioning and moisture management.

Recommendations

For best performance, wear technical socks that manage moisture and reduce friction, and periodically treat the suede leather with a suitable cleaner and protector recommended for GORE-TEX® footwear to maintain water repellency and material longevity.
