Sargento en C Stanley FATMAX XL Trigger-Klemme FMHT0-83238

The C-clamp Stanley FATMAX XL Trigger Clamp FMHT0-83238 is a robust nylon C-clamp designed for medium to heavy clamping tasks in woodworking, DIY and light workshop work. It features a 15 cm clamp opening and an overall width of 410 mm with 90 mm depth, allowing secure holding of workpieces with a strong clamping force while enabling single-handed operation via the trigger mechanism. The clamp's construction balances strength and reduced weight due to its reinforced nylon body, providing reliable performance on repetitive or prolonged tasks.

Advantages

The clamp offers a combination of wide opening capacity and substantial throat depth in a lightweight nylon design, which reduces user fatigue compared with all-metal alternatives. The trigger mechanism provides quick one-handed adjustment and release, speeding up repetitive clamping and improving workflow. Non-marring contact surfaces protect finished materials, and the reinforced structure delivers consistent clamping pressure for accurate alignment and assembly.

Suitable for

• Woodworking assembly and glue-ups
• DIY home repairs and hobby projects
• Holding parts during drilling, sanding or routing
• Temporary fixtures for painting or finishing

Key specifications

• Material: reinforced nylon body with metal screw components
• Maximum clamp opening: 150 mm (15 cm)
• Overall width: 410 mm
• Throat depth: 90 mm
• Operation: trigger-actuated one-handed clamping
• Contact pads: non-marring / protective pads

How to use

Position the clamp so the fixed jaw and the adjustable pad align with the workpiece surfaces you need to hold. Squeeze the trigger to advance the adjustable jaw until the contact pads engage both surfaces, then apply additional trigger strokes to reach the required clamping force. To release, use the trigger release or designated release lever to retract the jaw. For best results ensure contact pads are clean and centered on the workpiece and avoid over-tightening that could deform softer materials.

Recommendations

Use the clamp on flat, clean surfaces and distribute clamping points when securing long or thin workpieces to prevent bending. Inspect the clamp regularly for wear on the pads and the trigger mechanism; replace protective pads if damaged. For tasks requiring higher compressive force, use multiple clamps or alternative metal clamps appropriate for high-pressure applications.
