Faber-Castell 164816 is a compact set of four felt-tip markers designed for writing, marking and colouring on paper and similar porous surfaces. The markers deliver consistent colour coverage and are ready to use straight from the pack. Each pen combines a clear, saturated ink tone with a fine-to-medium nib suitable for neat handwriting and filling small areas. The multicolour housings improve visibility in pencil cases or desk organizers, while the compact four-piece configuration supports simple storage and transport.

Key specifications

• Number of pieces: 4
• Ink colours: green, lilac, pink, yellow
• Tip type: felt-tip suitable for writing and marking
• Suitable surfaces: paper and other porous media
• Origin: manufactured in Germany

How to use

Remove the cap and apply the marker tip to the paper with light pressure. Use short, even strokes for writing and gentle repeated passes for fuller colour coverage. Replace the cap after use to prevent the tip from drying. Test the marker on a spare sheet if you need to check ink intensity or compatibility with a specific paper type.

Recommendations

Store markers horizontally to maintain even ink distribution and keep caps closed when not in use. Avoid using on glossy or non-porous surfaces where the ink may not absorb properly. For school use, label personal items to prevent loss or mix-ups.
