Cable HDMI S/CONN 10-05055 5 m

The ShiverPeaks HDMI Cable S/CONN 10-05055 5m is a 5-metre black HDMI Type A to Type A cable designed for high-definition audio and video transmission. With an 18 Gbit/s data transfer capability, the cable supports Full HD and Ultra HD resolutions, 3D formats and Audio Return Channel (ARC). Gold-plated contacts are used to improve contact reliability and reduce signal degradation, while the flexible jacket and robust connector housings suit typical home entertainment and professional display setups.

Advantages

This HDMI cable provides a stable high-bandwidth connection with support for up to 18 Gbit/s data throughput, enabling smooth video playback and high-quality audio transfer. Gold-plated contacts enhance corrosion resistance and maintain consistent signal quality over time. The 5 m length offers placement flexibility for TVs, projectors and audio/video racks without the need for extenders. The cable’s black finish and standard HDMI Type A connectors make it compatible with most consumer devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting HDTVs and 4K displays to set-top boxes and Blu-ray players
• Linking gaming consoles to televisions or monitors
• Connecting projectors in meeting rooms or home cinema setups
• Integrating AV receivers and soundbars using ARC-capable ports

How to use

Ensure both source and display devices are powered off or in standby before connecting. Insert each HDMI Type A connector fully into the HDMI ports of the source device (such as a set-top box, console or Blu-ray player) and the display device (TV, monitor or projector). After connecting, power on the devices and select the corresponding HDMI input on the display. If using audio return channel functionality, enable ARC on both the TV and the audio device according to their menus.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid sharp bends and tight coils in the cable and keep it away from high-power electrical cables to reduce potential interference. Regularly inspect connectors for dust and gently clean gold-plated contacts with a soft, dry cloth if needed. Use the 5 m length to position devices with some distance between them, and verify device settings for ARC or 3D when applicable.
