Cable HDMI S/CONN 10m 77478-W

The ShiverPeaks HDMI Cable S/CONN 10m 77478-W is a 10‑metre HDMI A to HDMI A lead designed for connecting displays, TVs, projectors and AV receivers where extended cable length is required. The cable has male connectors on both ends with gold‑plated contacts and is rated for full HD video up to 1920 x 1080 pixels. With a data throughput of up to 8.16 Gbit/s and a white exterior, it is intended for installations where a discreet, durable connection is needed across longer distances.

Advantages

The cable’s gold‑plated contacts improve signal conductivity and reduce corrosion risk for consistent performance. At 10 metres, the cable provides greater placement flexibility between source and display without the need for signal extenders. The construction emphasizes durability for repeated plug/unplug cycles and for use in home or office AV setups. The white jacket helps the cable blend into light-coloured interiors and makes routing along walls or skirting less visible.

Suitable for

• Connecting Blu‑ray players, set‑top boxes or gaming consoles to TVs over longer distances
• Wiring projectors in meeting rooms or classrooms where the source is distant from the screen
• Linking AV receivers or soundbars to displays in home theatre installations
• Temporary or permanent AV cabling runs where a white cable is preferred for aesthetics

Key specifications

• Cable length: 10 metres
• Connector type: HDMI A (male) to HDMI A (male)
• Maximum resolution supported: 1920 x 1080 pixels
• Maximum data transfer rate: 8.16 Gbit/s
• Contact plating: gold‑plated contacts
• Color: white

How to use

Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI output of your source device (for example a Blu‑ray player, game console or PC) and the other end to the HDMI input of your display or AV receiver. Ensure both devices are powered off when plugging in to avoid hot‑plug issues, then power them on and select the appropriate HDMI input on the display. If the display does not automatically detect the source, use the display’s input selection menu to choose the connected HDMI port. For best results, avoid sharp bends near the connectors and route the cable to minimise interference from large power cables.

Recommendations

For consistent full HD performance, use this cable within its 10‑metre specification and avoid bundling it tightly with high‑power electrical wiring. If you experience intermittent signal loss at long runs, check connector seating and try a different HDMI input on the display or a different source device before considering active extenders.
