Cable HDMI S/CONN 30-01495 40 m

The S/CONN 30-01495 HDMI cable by ShiverPeaks is a 40 m HDMI Type A to Type A cable designed for long-distance digital audio and video connections. It features gold-plated contacts and a stated data transfer rate of 17.819 Gbit/s, and supports Audio Return Channel (ARC). The cable is finished in black and is intended for installations where a reliable wired HDMI link is required between HDMI-equipped devices over extended runs.

Advantages

The cable provides a single uninterrupted HDMI connection over a 40 m length, minimizing the need for intermediate adapters or converters. Gold-plated contacts help maintain signal contact quality and resist corrosion. Support for Audio Return Channel (ARC) simplifies audio routing between compatible devices without extra cables. The standard HDMI Type A connectors on both ends ensure compatibility with a wide range of TVs, monitors, AV receivers and source devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting a TV or projector to a distant set-top box, Blu-ray player or media player
• Linking an AV receiver to a display in a home theater setup
• Extending HDMI connections in meeting rooms, classrooms or event spaces
• Cable runs behind walls or along cable channels where a 40 m length is required

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A end of the cable to the HDMI output of the source device and the other end to the HDMI input of the display or receiver. If using ARC, enable ARC settings on both the display and the audio device according to their user manuals.

Recommendations

For best results, route the cable away from high-voltage power lines and strong EMI sources. Avoid tight bends and kinks; maintain gentle curves with a radius larger than the cable diameter. If installing in-wall, verify local building codes and use appropriate in-wall rated conduit or protective sheathing when required.
