Cable HDMI S/CONN 30-051005 100 m Type-A negro

The ShiverPeaks HDMI cable S/CONN 30-051005 100 m Type A Black is a long-reach HDMI solution designed for transmitting high-quality digital audio and video signals over extended distances. With HDMI Type A connectors on both ends and gold-plated contacts, the cable supports standard HDMI features such as 3D transmission and Audio Return Channel (ARC), making it suitable for installations that require reliable signal transfer between source devices and displays at a distance.

Advantages

This 100 m HDMI cable provides a single-cable solution for long-distance connections without the need for intermediate converters. Gold-plated contacts help maintain consistent contact quality and resist corrosion. Support for 3D and ARC ensures compatibility with home theater equipment, projectors, and certain audio setups. The black jacket offers a neutral appearance that integrates with most AV installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs to distant set-top boxes or AV receivers in home entertainment setups
• AV installations for classrooms, conference rooms, or auditoriums where long cable runs are required
• Linking projectors to media players or PCs across large rooms
• Connecting gaming consoles or streaming devices to remote displays

Key specifications

• Cable length: 100 m
• Connector type (both ends): HDMI Type A (Standard)
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Supported features: 3D, Audio Return Channel (ARC)
• Product colour: Black

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A connector to the source device (for example, a Blu-ray player, set-top box, gaming console, or PC) and the other HDMI Type A connector to the display device (such as a TV, monitor, or projector). Ensure both devices are powered off when making the connection, then power them on and select the corresponding HDMI input on the display. If using ARC, enable the ARC function in both the TV and the audio device settings according to their manuals. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension along the run to preserve signal integrity.

Recommendations

For best performance over a 100 m run, avoid coiling the cable tightly and keep it away from strong electromagnetic sources such as high-power electrical cables or large motors. Where signal issues occur at long distances, consider using an HDMI signal booster, active HDMI cable variant, or AV extenders that match the required resolution and refresh rate.
