S/CONN Cat 6 S/FTP Cable de red Blanco 3m

The S/CONN Cat 6 S/FTP Networking Cable White 3m by ShiverPeaks is a 3-meter Ethernet patch cable engineered for reliable high-speed wired connections. The cable uses S/FTP shielding (foil around each pair plus an overall braided screen) to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, while RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts provide consistent contact quality and corrosion resistance. The white outer jacket and flexible construction make the cable suitable for visible installations and everyday network setups where both performance and appearance are important.

Advantages

This S/CONN Cat 6 cable offers improved signal integrity through its S/FTP construction, which helps maintain stable network speeds and lowers packet loss in electrically noisy environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts enhance long-term contact reliability and reduce oxidation. The 3 m length balances reach and cable management for desktop, office and AV setups, and the white jacket provides a neutral aesthetic that blends with most interiors.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers within small office or home networks
• Wired gaming or streaming setups requiring low latency and stable throughput
• Audio‑visual equipment connections where predictable network performance is needed
• Patch panels and structured cabling runs in short horizontal segments

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6
• Shielding type: S/FTP (foiled pairs with overall braided screen)
• Connector type: RJ-45 plugs
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Length: 3 meters
• Outer jacket color: White
• Intended use: Ethernet, 1 Gbps network performance and up to specified Cat 6 limits

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your devices, ensuring a secure click into place. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as large power supplies or unshielded power cables. For best results, use this cable for direct device-to-device links, connecting to switches, routers or patch panels within its 3 m length. Inspect connectors for debris and ensure ports are powered down or inactive if replacing existing cabling in critical systems.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid stretching or kinking the cable and keep bend radius above the manufacturer’s recommended minimum (typically several times the cable diameter). When installing alongside multiple cables, maintain proper segregation from high-voltage lines. Use the cable for runs within the 3 m length and in environments where S/FTP shielding will reduce interference; for longer runs, select an appropriate longer Cat 6 or higher-rated cable.
