Siemens SIMATIC S7-1200 Módulo de comunicación RS485 6ES7241-1CH32-0XB0

The Siemens 6ES7241-1CH32-0XB0 is a communication module for the SIMATIC S7-1200 series, providing a single RS485 interface via screw terminals. It supports Modbus RTU (master/slave) and USS protocols, enabling seamless integration with drives, sensors, and other field devices. With data rates up to 115.2 kbit/s and electrical isolation, it ensures reliable data exchange in industrial environments. Configuration is performed via TIA Portal, simplifying setup and diagnostics.

Advantages

This module offers flexible serial connectivity for S7-1200 PLCs, supporting both Modbus RTU and USS protocols. Its electrical isolation protects the backplane bus from interference, while the wide operating temperature range (-20 °C to +60 °C) suits harsh industrial conditions. The screw terminal connection allows quick and secure wiring, and DIN rail mounting integrates easily into existing control cabinets.

Suitable for

• Connecting Modbus RTU slave devices such as energy meters, drives, and sensors
• Controlling Siemens drives via USS protocol
• Extending S7-1200 PLC communication capabilities in factory automation
• Applications requiring reliable RS485 communication over long distances
