Sierra Einhell FORTEXXA 18/30

The Einhell cordless chainsaw FORTEXXA 18/30 is a battery-powered saw from the Power X-Change family designed for cutting branches, pruning fruit trees and processing firewood and squared timber. It is driven by an Einhell brushless motor and uses an OREGON quality bar and chain; the tool requires an 18 V Power X-Change battery (battery and charger sold separately). The saw offers adjustable chain speed to choose between full power (8 m/s) and Eco mode (6 m/s), helping to extend battery runtime when required.

Advantages

Brushless motor technology provides higher efficiency and longer service life compared with conventional carbon-brush motors. Tool-free chain tensioning and simplified chain replacement reduce maintenance time. Safety features include a chain catcher, kickback protection with instant chain brake and an automatic chain lubrication system accessible via a large oil filling opening. The ergonomic handle with softgrip and a robust metal claw stop improve handling and control.

Suitable for

• Pruning thickly branched fruit trees and shrubs
• Cutting conifers and dense foliage
• Preparing firewood and cutting squared timber
• General garden maintenance and branch removal

How to use

Fit a charged 18 V Power X-Change battery into the saw before operation. Check chain tension and oil level through the large filling opening; adjust chain tension tool-free if necessary. Select the appropriate chain speed for the task (full power for faster cutting, Eco mode for longer runtime). Hold the saw with both hands using the ergonomic softgrip handle and engage the safety features. After use, clean the bar and chain, top up chain oil and store the saw and battery in a dry place.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves, eye and ear protection) and work on stable footing. For extended tasks, carry spare charged Power X-Change batteries to maintain performance. Observe the maximum blade and cutting length limits when cutting larger trunks or limbs.
