Sierra Metabo SSEP 18 LT 3000 spm

The Metabo SSEP 18 LT 3000 spm is a universal battery-powered sabre saw designed for versatile cutting tasks. It delivers a maximum idle stroke rate of 3000 spm and a stroke length of 3.2 cm, while weighing approximately 2.9 kg for good maneuverability. The saw features an angled soft-grip handle for comfortable handling and an integrated LED work light to illuminate the cutting line. It accepts the Metabo saw blade range and includes Metabo Quick for tool-free blade changes.

Advantages

The saw offers Variospeed electronics to set customised stroke rates for different materials and a selectable pendulum stroke to optimise cutting performance. The blade can be rotated 180° to allow comfortable overhead work. A depth guide is adjustable without tools to make full use of the blade for plunge cuts and varied applications. Low sound level uncertainty (5 dB) contributes to quieter operation.

Suitable for

• Straight and curved cuts in wood
• Metal cutting with appropriate blades
• Plunge cuts and overhead sawing tasks
• On-site renovations and mobile work where cordless operation is needed

How to use

Fit a suitable Metabo saw blade using the Metabo Quick system for tool-free blade changes. Select the Variospeed setting and, if needed, adjust the pendulum stroke to match the material and desired cutting speed. Use the adjustable depth guide to limit blade penetration for plunge cuts or to protect the workpiece. Switch on the integrated LED light to clearly see the cutting line. For overhead work rotate the blade holder 180° so the blade orientation is comfortable and visible.

Recommendations

Use blades from the Metabo saw blade range matched to the material. For faster, rough cuts use a more aggressive pendulum stroke; for fine, precise cuts reduce or disable the pendulum action. Always follow battery and tool safety instructions and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
