How to use

Install the Olympia 6115 at a visible exterior location following the mounting instructions provided with the unit, ensuring the siren faces outward and is positioned to maximise sound dispersion. Pair the siren with a compatible alarm control panel or wireless alarm transmitter according to the system manufacturer's pairing procedure. After mounting and pairing, verify operation by triggering the alarm from the control panel or test function and confirm the 105 dB output is audible from the intended coverage area.

Recommendations

Place the siren at a height and orientation that avoids obstructions and exposure to direct water flow while remaining clearly visible. Regularly test the siren as part of routine alarm system maintenance and check mounting hardware for corrosion or loosening. When selecting the mounting site, consider coverage area, local noise regulations and the need for a conspicuous visual indicator provided by the red and white housing.
