Buscador polar para montura paraláctica dispositivo de alineación polar SW-4234 OEM para un alineamiento preciso y una configuración sencilla

Polar finder SW-4234 OEM is a compact polar alignment device designed for equatorial telescope mounts. It provides a visual reference to position the mount's right ascension axis toward the celestial pole, streamlining the alignment process for both astrophotography and visual observing. The unit is intended to be mounted in the mount's polar axis housing and used together with the mount's adjustment controls to achieve accurate alignment and improved tracking performance during long exposures.

Advantages

The polar finder offers a simple optical reference that reduces the time required for initial setup and repeat alignments. Its compact size and straightforward installation make it suitable for a wide range of equatorial mounts. By enabling more accurate polar alignment, the device contributes to more precise tracking and reduced field rotation in long-exposure images.

Suitable for

• Setting up equatorial mounts for astrophotography
• Visual observing where accurate tracking is needed
• Field use and remote setups that require quick alignment

Key specifications

• Optical polar alignment reticle for visual reference
• Compact, lightweight design compatible with standard polar axis openings
• Simple mechanical mounting interface for integration into the polar housing
• Durable construction for outdoor use and portability

How to use

Install the polar finder into the mount's polar axis opening according to the mount manufacturer's instructions. Center the reticle and use the mount's azimuth and altitude adjustment controls to place the appropriate star or Polaris in the reticle position corresponding to the current date and time. Verify alignment by slewing the mount and checking tracking or by performing a drift alignment if higher precision is required.

Recommendations

For optimal results, use a polar alignment app or an up-to-date star chart to determine the correct reticle position for the current date and time. Re-check alignment after making significant changes to the tripod position or after transporting the mount. When preparing for long-exposure astrophotography, combine the polar finder alignment with fine-tuning methods such as iterative drift alignment or plate solving to achieve the highest tracking accuracy.
