POCO X8 Pro 6.59" Dual SIM 5G in White is a 5G-capable smartphone built around a 6.59" (16.7 cm) 2756×1268 ultra-bright AMOLED display and powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra. It combines 8 GB LPDDR5X RAM with 256 GB internal storage, a dual rear camera system led by a 50 MP main sensor, a 20 MP front camera, and a large 6500 mAh battery. The device has an IP68 dust and water resistance rating and weighs approximately 201 g, delivering long battery life, strong multimedia capabilities and flagship-class performance for everyday tasks.

Advantages

The POCO X8 Pro offers flagship-level processing performance thanks to the Dimensity 8500 Ultra built on a 4 nm process, supporting smooth multitasking and demanding applications. Its 1.5K 120 Hz AMOLED panel provides high peak brightness and wide viewing angles for clear visibility even in bright outdoor conditions. Battery life is a core strength: the 6500 mAh silicon-carbon battery supports 100W HyperCharge, 27W reverse charging and is designed for long cycle life with intelligent charging management. The camera system includes a 50 MP main sensor with optical image stabilization for sharper photos, while dual-layer IceLoop cooling and WildBoost optimization keep performance stable under heavy loads.

Suitable for

• Multimedia consumption: video streaming, high-brightness outdoor viewing
• Mobile gaming and heavy multitasking
• Long daily use and travel thanks to extended battery life
• Everyday photography and social media content creation
• Use in wet or dusty environments where IP68 protection is required

How to use

Power on the POCO X8 Pro with the side button and complete the initial setup following on-screen prompts to add accounts, restore backups and configure Dual SIM preferences. Use the display settings to select refresh rate and adaptive brightness; enable the eye-comfort mode or 3840 Hz PWM dimming when reducing eye strain. For charging, use a compatible 100W PPS charger to take advantage of HyperCharge, and enable smart charging features in settings to prolong battery lifespan. The camera app provides modes for UltraSnap, portrait and ultra-wide shots—adjust HDR and OIS settings as needed for stable low-light or moving-subject photos.

Recommendations

To maintain battery health, use the smart charging options and avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures while charging. Keep the firmware and HyperOS updates current to benefit from performance optimizations and security fixes. For best camera results, enable optical image stabilization for handheld low-light shots and switch to the ultra-wide lens for expansive scenes. Although IP68 offers protection against dust and temporary immersion, rinse and dry the device if it is exposed to salt water and avoid charging when the device or charging port is wet.
