For optimal performance, mount the detector at a height of approximately 2.2 meters in a corner or on a flat wall, ensuring the detection zone covers the desired area. Avoid placing it near heat sources, air vents, or direct sunlight, as these can affect PIR accuracy. Test the detector after installation by walking through the detection zone and verifying that you receive a notification on your smartphone.
