Position the microphone close to the sound source for clearer dialogue or centrally for ambient capture thanks to the omnidirectional pattern. Check levels on your camera or recorder before starting and monitor audio where possible to ensure correct gain and avoid clipping.

Recommendations

For best results, use the wired connection in electrically noisy environments and wireless mode when mobility is required. Aim the microphone toward the subject or place it near the sound source; apply basic wind protection outdoors to reduce wind noise.
