STANLEY 0-10-244 cortafolios de seguridad con cuchilla oculta y cortacintas

The STANLEY 0-10-244 Safety Film Cutter is a robust manual tool engineered for safe and efficient opening of film-wrapped packages, shrink wrap, plastic strapping, and packaging tape. Its concealed carbon steel blade slices through single-layer materials cleanly while preventing accidental cuts to the user or the contents inside. The integrated tape splitter adds versatility, allowing you to start cuts on tape without exposing the blade. Designed for high-volume packaging, warehouse, logistics, and retail environments, this cutter combines durability with an ergonomic high-impact plastic handle for comfortable, controlled use. A lanyard hole enables convenient attachment to a workstation or belt loop, keeping the tool within reach. With a fixed, non-replaceable blade, it delivers consistent performance and long service life in demanding industrial settings.

Advantages

The concealed safety blade design virtually eliminates the risk of injuries, making it ideal for workplaces with strict safety protocols. The carbon steel edge maintains sharpness through repeated use on plastic films and strapping. The integrated tape splitter speeds up package opening by creating an initial cut without requiring a separate tool. The high-impact ABS handle withstands drops and rough handling, while its ergonomic shape reduces hand fatigue during extended shifts. The yellow and black colour scheme enhances visibility, so the cutter is easy to locate on busy workstations. The lanyard hole adds convenience for tethering, preventing loss and ensuring quick access.

Recommendations

For maximum safety and efficiency, keep the cutter tethered to your workstation using the lanyard hole. Always cut away from your body and use the tape splitter to start cuts on tape before sliding the concealed blade along the film. Inspect the blade periodically for wear; although non-replaceable, the carbon steel edge is designed for long-term durability in industrial environments. Pair with STANLEY replacement blades or other safety tools for a complete cutting solution.
