Switch gestionado UBIQUITI USW-Ultra L2, 8 puertos Gigabit PoE, 7 PoE, presupuesto 42 W, DC/PoE, conmutación 16 Gbit/s

A compact Layer 2 8-port Gigabit Ethernet PoE switch that supports versatile mounting options for flexible installation in small to medium network environments. The switch provides eight Gigabit Ethernet ports with Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability and operates at Layer 2 for reliable switching and traffic management.

Advantages

The compact design saves space and allows deployment in constrained locations. Layer 2 switching ensures efficient local traffic handling and VLAN support. PoE capability powers compatible devices directly over Ethernet cables, simplifying cabling and reducing the need for separate power supplies. Multiple mounting options enable installation on a desk, rack, or wall to match different site requirements.

Key specifications

• Ports: 8 × Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) with PoE
• Switching level: Layer 2
• Mounting: versatile options (desk, rack, wall)
• Form factor: compact

How to use

Place the switch in a suitable location according to available mounting options. Connect power and attach Ethernet cables from devices to the GbE PoE ports. Configure VLANs and basic Layer 2 settings using the device management interface if required for your network. Ensure connected PoE devices are within the switch’s power budget and verify link and activity LEDs to confirm proper operation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, mount the switch in a ventilated area and use Cat5e or higher cables. Check the PoE budget before connecting multiple power-hungry devices and separate critical traffic using VLANs when necessary.
