How to use

Mount the IGS-500T on a wall or DIN rail position as required, connect each Ethernet device using Cat5/5e/6 cables to the RJ-45 ports; ports will auto-negotiate speed and duplex. Apply power using one or both of the supported inputs (12–48 V DC or 24 V AC). When two power sources are connected, the hardware failover automatically maintains power if one source fails. No configuration is required for basic operation as the switch is unmanaged and operates in plug-and-play mode.

Recommendations

Use shielded or unshielded Cat5e/Cat6 cables for reliable Gigabit links, ensure proper grounding of the metal enclosure in industrial environments, and provide redundant power when uninterrupted operation is required.
