Taco Fischer 62758

The Fischer 62758 screw anchor is a wall plug designed for secure fixing in solid materials such as brick and concrete. It has a length of 70 mm and is intended for drilled holes with a diameter of 12 mm. The product is supplied in a pack of 25 pieces and is intended for standard fastening tasks where a robust anchor point is required.

Advantages

The Fischer wall plug provides a reliable mechanical connection between fastener and substrate thanks to its geometry and material composition suitable for masonry and concrete. Its 70 mm length allows engagement beyond surface layers to distribute loads more evenly, and the 12 mm drill diameter specification ensures consistent fit with common drill bits. Supplied in multipacks of 25, the plugs simplify planning for medium-sized jobs and reduce the need for frequent reorders.

Suitable for

• Anchoring of shelves and cabinets to brick or concrete walls
• Fixing rails, brackets and handrails in masonry
• Mounting electrical boxes, conduits and light fixtures where solid substrate is present
• General indoor and outdoor non-structural fixtures in solid base materials

Key specifications

• Anchor type: expansion screw anchor for solid masonry
• Length: 70 mm
• Recommended drill hole diameter: 12 mm
• Minimum required drill hole depth: 85 mm
• Pack quantity: 25 pieces per box

How to use

Drill the hole in the masonry substrate with a 12 mm masonry bit to a depth of at least 85 mm, then remove dust and debris from the hole using a brush or compressed air. Insert the Fischer wall plug flush with the surface, position the fixture, and drive the appropriate screw or bolt into the anchor until the required pull-in and clamping force is achieved. Follow the screw manufacturer's torque recommendations to avoid over-tightening.

Recommendations

Use the anchor only in solid base materials such as concrete or solid brick. Do not use in hollow blocks or gypsum plasterboard without verifying suitability. For safety-critical or load-bearing applications consult relevant installation standards and calculate required spacing and edge distances to ensure adequate load distribution.
