Taco Fischer 77872

The fischer universal fixing UX is a plastic fixing made of high-quality nylon. The fischer universal fixing expands in solid building materials and knots in hollow building materials to provide a reliable hold. Its universal principle makes the UX suitable for a wide range of substrates including autoclaved aerated concrete, brick and plasterboard. The edge design reduces slippage during installation. The pack contains 50 pieces, each 60 mm long and 10 mm in diameter, supplied in a box for easy storage.

Advantages

The universal operating principle (knotting or expanding) enables use in solid, hollow and board building materials, making the UX a practical choice for unknown base materials. Angled connection ridges guide the screw for secure engagement while serrated anti-rotation locks prevent the plug from turning in the drill hole, improving installation safety. The nylon material provides corrosion resistance and long-term performance.

Suitable for

• Fixing light to medium loads in autoclaved aerated concrete
• Fixing in brick and solid masonry
• Fixing in plasterboard and hollow blocks
• General interior mounting where substrate type may vary

How to use

Drill a hole matching the plug diameter, clean out drilling dust, insert the fischer UX plug flush with the surface and drive the appropriate screw into the plug. In solid substrates the plug expands around the screw, while in hollow substrates the plug knots to form a secure anchor. Ensure the screw length is suitable for the fixture and substrate to achieve the required anchorage depth.

Recommendations

Use the fischer UX for general-purpose interior fixings and in situations where the substrate is unknown; choose screws with suitable length and diameter for the load and material. Do not exceed the recommended load capacities for the chosen substrate and follow local building codes for safety.
