Taladradora DeWALT DCD706D2-QW, 1500 rpm, portabrocas de cambio rápido, 1,1 kg

The DeWALT DCD706D2-QW is a compact, pistol-grip brushless drill designed for general-purpose drilling and light assembly work. It has a keyless 10 mm chuck for quick bit changes, a two-gear transmission and a maximum no-load speed of 1500 RPM. The tool is battery powered, supplied with two Lithium-Ion batteries, provides an output power of 250 W and weighs 1.1 kg, which supports prolonged handheld use and improved manoeuvrability in confined spaces. The drill can drill up to 20 mm in wood and up to 10 mm in steel under appropriate conditions.

Advantages

The brushless motor increases efficiency and reduces maintenance compared with brushed alternatives. The keyless chuck enables fast and tool-free bit changes. A two-gear gearbox provides a balance between torque and speed for different tasks. The lightweight design at 1.1 kg reduces operator fatigue during extended use. Inclusion of two batteries enhances runtime and allows for continuous workflow with minimal interruptions.

Suitable for

• Drilling holes in wood up to 20 mm diameter
• Drilling small to medium holes in metal up to 10 mm diameter
• General assembly and fastening tasks in carpentry and interior installations
• Work in confined or overhead spaces where a compact, lightweight drill is preferred

Key specifications

• Design: pistol grip drill
• Chuck type: keyless, maximum capacity 10 mm
• Maximum no-load speed: 1500 RPM
• Motor: brushless
• Maximum drilling diameter in wood: 20 mm
• Maximum drilling diameter in steel: 10 mm
• Number of gears: 2
• Power source: Lithium-Ion battery, output power 250 W
• Weight: 1.1 kg

How to use

Install a compatible 1/4" or round-shank bit into the keyless 10 mm chuck and tighten it by hand until secure. Select the appropriate gear for the required balance of torque and speed; use the lower gear for higher torque when driving screws or drilling larger holes, and the higher gear for faster drilling in softer materials. Start drilling at low speed to position the bit, then increase RPM as needed up to the maximum 1500 RPM for standard drilling operations. Use steady pressure without forcing the tool; allow the brushless motor to maintain speed under load. Replace or recharge the batteries as required to maintain performance.

Recommendations

For safe and efficient operation, wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and hearing protection, choose drill bits rated for the material being drilled, and secure workpieces before drilling. To extend battery life, keep spare charged batteries available and avoid complete battery depletion when possible. Regularly inspect the chuck and bits for wear and replace them if damaged.
