High-quality interior: Our original CHERRY MX switches
To ensure optimal performance in any situation, the MX 2.0S uses our in-house MX switches. The CHERRY keyboard with cable is available in five switch variants, each of which has slightly different characteristics. You can achieve tangible feedback without a click, for example, with the MX BROWN. Do you prefer your keyboard to be smooth and quiet? Then the CHERRY MX SILENT RED should adorn your keyboard.

Whether you choose the MX BLACK, MX RED or CHERRY MX BROWN for your keyboard: CHERRY's patented Gold Crosspoint technology guarantees reliable contact performance, exemplary feedback and a flawless response speed regardless of the switch you choose. Multiple mechanical components under each key ensure a uniform feel. In addition, the CHERRY MX 2.0S keyboard offers all the useful features you would expect from a modern gaming keyboard:
Full-N-Key rollover ensures that all keys can be pressed and read simultaneously. Incorrect inputs are avoided by anti-ghosting. The WIN key Lock helps prevent inadvertently executed Windows commands when you're in the middle of your game. The CHERRY button gives you one-touch access to the CHERRY website and CHERRY UTILITY software, which allows you to make RGB lighting settings, among other things.

How to use

Connect the keyboard to a free USB port on your computer using the attached cable. If your model includes RGB lighting, install the free CHERRY Utility software to configure lighting modes, color effects and key assignments. Use the folding feet to set a comfortable typing angle and, if desired, add the compatible CHERRY AC 2.3 wrist rest for additional wrist support during long sessions.

Recommendations

For gaming, enable full N-key rollover and anti-ghosting features to ensure all simultaneous key presses register correctly. Select the CHERRY MX switch variant that matches your preference for tactile feedback and noise level—for example, MX Brown for tactile feedback without a click, or MX Silent Red for a quieter, smooth keystroke. Keep the keyboard clean and avoid exposing it to liquids to preserve the abrasion-resistant key cap markings.
