Tijera de hojalata de corte recto Stanley FATMAX FMHT73756-0

The STANLEY FatMax Straight Cut Aviation Snips (FMHT73756-0) are designed for precision straight cutting of sheet materials. At 250 mm length and weighing 421.8 g, these snips provide control and a comfortable, slip-resistant bi-material cushion grip. Serrated cutting edges reduce material slippage and induction-hardened blades retain sharpness longer, making these snips suitable for professional and DIY tasks.

Advantages

Serrated, induction-hardened cutting edges reduce slipping and stay sharper longer compared to non-induction-hardened blades. The snips cut up to 18 gauge (1.2 mm) cold-rolled steel and 22 gauge (0.7 mm) stainless steel. Flush hardware minimises catching on materials, an auto-release mechanism enables quick one-handed opening, and 1/4" laser-etched blade markings support accurate, repeatable cuts.

Suitable for

• Cutting aluminum and copper sheet
• Trimming vinyl siding and screening
• Cutting cardboard and leather
• General sheet metal work and HVAC tasks

How to use

Place the material between the blades and align using the 1/4" blade markings for precise cutting. Squeeze the handles firmly and guide the snips along the intended cut line at a steady pace. Use the serrated edge to prevent the material from slipping; for best results with thicker metals stay within the specified cutting capacities. Release the handle to activate the auto-release mechanism for one-handed opening.

Recommendations

Inspect blades before use and keep them clean and free of debris. Do not exceed the stated cutting capacities. For prolonged blade life, avoid cutting materials harder than recommended and store the snips dry. Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as gloves and eye protection when cutting sheet metal.
