Staedtler Noris Club 965 single-blade scissors feature 14 cm stainless steel blades and two-tone blue/red plastic handles. Designed for everyday cutting tasks in school, craft and home environments, these compact scissors combine corrosion-resistant stainless steel cutting edges with an ergonomic, lightweight handle profile. The blade length and construction are suitable for controlled cutting of paper, cardboard and light craft materials.

Advantages

Stainless steel blades provide corrosion resistance and consistent cutting performance over time. The single-blade design and 14 cm cutting length offer precision and control for small to medium tasks. The molded plastic handles are lightweight and shaped for a secure grip, while the compact size makes the scissors easy to store in pencil cases, craft boxes or drawers.

Suitable for

• Cutting paper and school projects
• Light craft materials such as thin card, felt and foam sheets
• Home office tasks like trimming documents and photos
• Children’s supervised craft activities

Key specifications

• Blade material: stainless steel
• Blade length: 14 cm
• Handle material: injection-molded plastic, two-tone blue/red
• Design: single-blade scissors for right- or left-hand use depending on cutting orientation
• Packaging: blister card

How to use

Hold the scissors by the handles with the thumb and at least one finger inserted into the respective openings, keeping the wrist steady while moving the blades through the material. Start cutting at one edge and guide the material slowly for straight cuts or rotate the paper for curves. For best results on thin materials, use short, controlled strokes rather than forcing long cuts. After use, wipe blades clean and close the scissors before storing to protect the cutting edges.

Recommendations

Use these scissors for paper, thin cardboard and light craft materials. Avoid cutting very thick cardboard, metal, wire, or other hard materials to prevent blade damage. Store in a dry place and keep out of reach of unsupervised young children. Periodically clean the blades with a dry cloth to maintain cutting performance.
