How to use

Install the socket in a suitable location on the vehicle or trailer body where wiring access and plug clearance are available. Secure the housing to the mounting surface according to the vehicle’s repair or installation guidelines, then connect the corresponding vehicle wiring to the socket terminals following the standard 7‑pole wiring scheme. Verify each circuit (tail lights, brake lights, indicators and auxiliary power) with a tester or by connecting a trailer before driving. Ensure cable routing and connections are protected from chafing and moisture to maintain reliable operation.

Recommendations

Use corrosion‑resistant connectors, maintain clean contact surfaces and periodically inspect wiring and seals. When installing or servicing the socket, disconnect the vehicle battery and follow vehicle manufacturer wiring diagrams to ensure proper electrical connections and safe operation while towing.
