How to use

Plug one Deco unit into a power outlet near your modem and connect it to the modem via Ethernet. Place additional Deco units in other rooms and plug them into power outlets to extend coverage; the units will form a mesh network using G.hn Powerline and wireless links. Install the TP‑Link Deco app on your smartphone to complete guided setup, create a single Wi‑Fi name for the network, and manage connected devices and settings.

Recommendations

For best performance, plug Deco units directly into wall outlets rather than power strips or surge protectors. Place units in central locations on each floor and avoid locations with heavy electromagnetic interference. To expand coverage, add additional compatible Deco units; all TP‑Link Deco models can interoperate.
