Transformador Omnitronic ELA-T50 50W — transformador de audio para instalaciones ELA de 50 W

The Omnitronic ELA-T50 50W is an audio transformer designed for public address and commercial audio installations. Rated for 50 watts, it allows an amplifier’s low-impedance output to be connected to distributed speaker lines or 70/100 V paging systems, providing impedance matching and galvanic isolation to help protect equipment and maintain consistent sound distribution across ceiling, wall or pendant speakers.

Advantages

This transformer offers a dedicated 50 W tap for installations that require medium-power distribution while minimizing signal loss and impedance mismatch. Its construction supports reliable operation in commercial environments and reduces the risk of damage from mismatched loads. The unit is compact and suitable for concealed mounting near speakers or inside junction boxes, simplifying wiring and system layout for installers and integrators.

How to use

Install the transformer close to the speaker or inside a junction box and connect the amplifier output to the transformer's primary according to the system’s wiring scheme. Select the 50 W tap on the secondary side and connect the distributed speaker line. Ensure that total connected speaker load does not exceed the amplifier capacity and that wiring polarity is maintained to avoid phase issues. Verify connections and perform a sound check at low volume before full operation.

Recommendations

Use the Omnitronic ELA-T50 50W when a single speaker or zone needs a dedicated 50 W tap in a 70/100 V system. Confirm compatibility with the amplifier’s rated power and the total load on the speaker line. For permanent installations, secure mounting and protected cable routing are advised to ensure long-term reliability.
