Transmisor AV LevelOne HDSpider™ transmisor HDMI sobre Cat.5 en cascada

The HDSpider™ HVE-9003 Cat.5 HDMI receiver from LevelOne is a compact device designed to receive HDMI signals transmitted over Cat.5/Cat.5e/Cat.6 Ethernet cable. Installed at the display end of an HDMI-over-Ethernet link, the receiver restores and equalizes incoming video and audio to feed high-definition monitors at extended distances, and supports HDMI 1.3c features including Deep Color and increased bandwidth.

Advantages

The HVE-9003 receiver enables long-distance HDMI transmission using affordable Ethernet cable while maintaining high-quality video and audio. It includes an 8-level adjustable equalization knob to compensate for cable skew and signal loss, supports higher throughput up to 6.75 Gbps, and is backward compatible with earlier HDMI and DVI devices. The compact form factor makes it easy to place at the display end in installations such as classrooms, shops, airports or public venues.

Key specifications

• Compatible cable types: Cat.5, Cat.5e, Cat.6 Ethernet cable
• Maximum transmission distance: up to 60 m for 1080i, up to 40 m for 1080p
• Equalization: 8-level adjustable equalization knob for cable skew compensation
• Bandwidth: up to 6.75 Gbps
• HDMI features: HDMI 1.3c compliant, supports Deep Color

How to use

Connect the transmitter unit to the HDMI source (DVD player, Blu-Ray, game console or digital TV source) and run Cat.5/Cat.5e/Cat.6 cable between the transmitter and the HVE-9003 receiver located at the display. Plug the receiver into the display's HDMI input. If image quality or color alignment requires adjustment, use the receiver's 8-level equalization knob to fine-tune the signal. Ensure cable runs stay within specified distances for the chosen resolution.

Recommendations

For best results, use high-quality Cat.5e or Cat.6 cable, keep single continuous cable runs without excessive bends, and stay within the specified distance limits (60 m for 1080i, 40 m for 1080p). Verify HDMI source and display compatibility with HDMI 1.3c features such as Deep Color when planning high-definition installations.
