How to use

Slide the CellPack 145128 heat-shrink tubing over the wire or joint to be protected before making connections. After soldering or connecting the conductors, position the tubing to fully cover the splice or exposed area. Apply uniform heat using a heat gun, hot air tool or controlled flame at a safe distance until the tubing contracts evenly and conforms tightly around the cable and connector. Allow the sleeve to cool and verify a secure fit and continuous insulation along the length.

Recommendations

Use a temperature-controlled heat source to avoid overheating; maintain a safe distance when using open flame. For strain relief on connectors, ensure the tubing extends onto both the cable jacket and the connector body. When marking cables, use permanent ink or mechanical engraving compatible with inscribable surfaces.
