For photographers who refuse to let cold hands ruin a shoot, the Vallerret 26SLR-BK-XL gloves combine the warmth of a serious winter glove with the precision of bare-finger control. Unlike bulky ski gloves or flimsy liners, these are built around a flip-back finger system on the thumb, index, and middle fingers—secured by integrated magnets—so you can adjust dials, press buttons, and focus without ever exposing your whole hand. The DWR-coated twill and goatskin leather shell shrugs off snow and wind, while the 100% Merino wool lining and dual-density Thinsulate (C100 on the back, C70 on the palm) keep you warm down to mid-winter temperatures. A non-slip silicone print on the palm ensures a steady grip on your camera, and the touchscreen-compatible fingertips let you review shots or change settings on your phone without removing the gloves.

Highlights

• Flip-back finger caps on thumb, index, and middle fingers with integrated magnets for quick, one-handed operation
• DWR-coated twill and goatskin leather outer shell for water repellency and windproof protection
• 100% Merino wool lining with Thinsulate C100/C70 insulation for warmth without bulk
• Non-slip silicone palm print for secure camera handling
• Touchscreen-compatible fingertips on remaining fingers for smartphone use
• Neoprene cuff with hook & loop strap for a snug, adjustable fit
• Practical extras: SD card pocket, carabiner clip, suede lens wipe, and wrist leash

In daily use

Out in the field, these gloves shine when you need to react quickly. The magnetic finger caps snap back and stay out of the way, so you can feel the shutter button or turn a dial with bare fingertips, then flip them closed in a second. The Merino wool lining manages moisture and odour, keeping hands comfortable during long sessions. The silicone palm grip means your camera won't slip, even in wet conditions. The neoprene cuff seals out drafts, and the hook & loop strap lets you adjust the fit over a jacket sleeve. The small details—a pocket for SD cards, a carabiner to clip the gloves to your bag, a suede patch for wiping your lens, and a wrist leash to prevent drops—make them a true photographer's tool.
