Vivolink PROUSBAB5 Cable USB USB 2.0 5 m USB A USB B Negro

The Vivolink PROUSBAB5 is a 5 m USB 2.0 cable with USB A and USB B connectors, designed for reliable data transmission over longer distances. It supports USB 2.0 speeds up to 480 Mbps (0.48 Gbit/s) and features gold-plated connector contacts and a slim 3 mm cable profile in a black finish for use with printers, scanners and other USB devices.

Advantages

The cable provides stable USB 2.0 data transfer at up to 480 Mbps and is suitable for longer runs thanks to its 5 m length. Gold-plated contacts improve contact reliability and resist corrosion. The slim 3 mm cable and compact 19×13 mm connector heads make routing and connection in tight spaces easier while the black colour suits office and home environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting printers and multifunction devices to a computer
• Connecting scanners and external USB peripherals
• Data transfer and communication between USB A and USB B devices

How to use

Plug the USB A connector into the host device (for example, a computer) and the USB B connector into the peripheral (for example, a printer or scanner). Ensure both devices are powered according to their instructions. The cable supports standard USB 2.0 plug-and-play operation; install drivers for the peripheral if required by the operating system.

Recommendations

For optimal performance keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference (large transformers, unshielded power cables) and avoid tight bends or heavy kinks. For reliable long-term connections, insert and remove connectors straight to minimise wear on the gold-plated contacts.
