Cable de parcheo Goobay CAT 6 S/FTP PiMF amarillo 5 m

The Goobay CAT 6 Patch Cable S/FTP (PiMF) in yellow is a 5 m network cable designed for high-speed data transmission and stable connections. Built with high-quality inner conductors, robust outer sheathing and precise RJ-45 plugs with aluminium/copper plating, the cable supports data rates up to 10 Gbps and is suitable for home and business networks.

Advantages

The S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair with pair-in-metal-foil) construction reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity over longer distances. Precision-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure reliable contact and reduced loss at the interface, while the durable sheath increases mechanical protection and cable longevity.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet connections up to 10 Gbps
• Home networks, office LANs and data closets
• Gaming, 4K/8K streaming and other bandwidth-intensive applications
• Structured cabling installations requiring shielded cables

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (router, switch, PC or modem) and the other plug to the corresponding port on the second device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain; maintain separation from power cables where possible to minimise interference.

Recommendations

For best performance in shielded installations, connect cable shields to grounded patch panels or metal housings. Avoid tight coils and excessive pulling force when installing; replace the cable if connectors show visible damage or if data errors occur.
