The handset is offered in Blue and weighs approximately 220 g.

Advantages

POCO F8 Ultra combines flagship-level processing power with a large, high-brightness display and advanced cooling to sustain heavy workloads and gaming sessions. Its 6500 mAh dual-cell battery and support for high-rate wired and wireless charging provide long runtime and rapid replenishment. The camera system delivers versatile shooting options from ultra-wide to 5x optical telephoto, complemented by AI imaging features. IP68 protection, durable POCO Shield Glass, and a reinforced frame add practical resilience for everyday use.

Suitable for

• Mobile gaming and high-performance apps that require sustained CPU/GPU power
• Photography and content creation using wide, ultra-wide and optical telephoto zoom
• Extended multimedia consumption outdoors thanks to a bright, large display
• Users needing long battery life and fast recharge options
• Daily multitasking and productivity with large RAM and ample storage

When it may not be suitable

The POCO F8 Ultra is a large, heavy smartphone at around 220 g and a 6.9" display, which may be cumbersome for users who prefer compact or one-handed devices. It does not support expandable storage via memory cards, so storage needs should be planned in advance.

How to use

Charge the device using the supplied or compatible fast charger to take advantage of the rapid charging profile, and enable smart charging to optimise battery longevity. Use Dual SIM configuration settings to add a NanoSIM and set up an eSIM if required for separate voice and data plans. The camera app provides multiple shooting modes including periscope zoom, ultra-wide and AI-assisted modes; switch between lenses in the camera interface and enable OIS or EIS for improved stability. For gaming, enable the device’s performance or cooling modes as needed to sustain frame rates and reduce thermal throttling.

What to consider before purchase

• Large 6.9" display and 220 g weight — ensure device size fits your handling preferences
• Internal storage is fixed at 256 GB — no microSD expansion supported
• Dual SIM configuration requires NanoSIM + eSIM compatibility from your carrier
• IP68 offers dust and water resistance but does not make the phone indestructible against drops

Recommendations

To extend battery health, enable smart charging features, avoid exposing the phone to extreme temperatures, and use the provided charging standards. For best camera results, keep lenses clean and use the periscope telephoto for distant subjects while relying on the main and ultra-wide sensors for general and landscape shots. For extended gaming sessions, consider enabling the thermal or performance modes and use wired charging where possible to reduce battery temperature rise.
