Zebra 1600 cinta de transferencia térmica cera 450 m negra

The Zebra 1600 Wax thermal ribbon in black is a 450 m long, 131 mm wide consumable designed for thermal transfer printing. It is formulated to deliver clear, high-contrast text and images on compatible label media, providing reliable performance for a range of standard labeling tasks. The ribbon is intended for use in Zebra thermal transfer printers and is optimized for general-purpose applications where crisp black printing and economical operation are required.

Advantages

This thermal ribbon offers consistent print density and sharp edge definition for barcodes, text and simple graphics. Its wax-based formulation provides economical coverage and good transfer efficiency on paper and coated papers while helping to keep printheads cleaner compared with some heavy-resin ribbons. At 450 m length, the ribbon reduces the frequency of roll changes and supports continuous printing runs, improving operational efficiency in environments with moderate to high label volumes.

Suitable for

• Shipping and logistics labels
• Product and barcode labeling on paper or coated paper media
• Retail price tags and shelf labels
• Office and light industrial labeling tasks

Key specifications

• Ribbon type: wax thermal transfer
• Color: black
• Length: 450 m
• Width: 131 mm
• Compatibility: designed for Zebra thermal transfer printers (general compatibility with printers supporting 131 mm ribbon width)
• Suitable media: plain paper and coated paper label stocks

How to use

Install the thermal ribbon into a compatible Zebra thermal transfer printer following the printer manufacturer’s instructions for ribbon loading and alignment. Ensure the ribbon is wound with the ink side facing the label media and that tension is properly set to avoid wrinkles or misalignment. Select appropriate printhead temperature and print speed settings for the media type; lower heat settings are typically sufficient for wax ribbons on paper stocks to achieve clear prints without excessive ink spread.

Recommendations

Store the ribbon in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and high humidity. Test print settings when changing media types to confirm optimal contrast and barcode readability. For applications requiring higher scuff, scratch or chemical resistance, consider a wax-resin or resin ribbon instead of a wax ribbon.
